Good day Mobsters!

It was brought to my attention last night by a fellow Mobster that there was sighting of a SpongeTech product at PUBLIX!  Being that Publix is the fifteenth largest retailer in the U.S. and has over 1,000 stores it obviously caught my attention. Speaking as a Floridian we have one at what seems like every corner so a new mission to verify this news was a must.

More info on Publix: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publix

You may remember our 1st successful Mission if not you can follow it here: Operation SpongeTech Products – Mission is a SUCCESS!

To make it a bit more entertaining I figured I would share the 2nd mission with you in detail. It was a cold and rainy day, my hands were chilled and my heart was pumping…ok lol..I won’t get that detailed, but here we go!

I dropped into the closest Publix which is only a couple of miles from home base. It didn’t take long to call this mission a success, went over to the car care products and BAM, what do I see? “SpongeTech’s Eliminator Chamois” SCORE!!!

Ohhhhhh but wait boys and girls there’s more…and this part gets a little fun. I asked myself hmmmm, I wonder if our good friend Spongebob is any where to be found? Well after going up and down the isles 2-3 times and asking about 8 clerks there was no sign of Spongebob, just as I was about to cry on the way to the cashier with my Eliminator Chamois, something told me to stop.

I once again asked myself hmmmmm. The Chamois looked freshly stocked so let me get a manager and just see if maybe there is some word. I bypassed the cashier and went up to the Customer Service desk, before I could even get to the manager one of the ladies there asked if she could help. Well, I told her I was curious about a product…when I told her what it was she laughed at me and said “yes we have them I actually snuck one in the back to take home with me after work” I didnt want to say she was full of it, but I asked her if I could please see it. (had my doubts) She said sure, went in the back room, grabbed it and laid it on the counter (you can see on picture 7 I took a quick snapshot of it on the counter when she turned to help a customer lol) Afterwords she said I could have it if I wanted it and she would just get another on the way out. Without hesitation I snagged it and asked if she would help me find them so I could buy more. I mentioned I was up and down all isles and couldnt find them any where.

Now me AND the lady went on a mission ha, after asking another 4 or 5 clerks with no luck she tracked a couple managers which showed us where they were. Well, no wonder we couldn’tfind them they SOLD OUT!! Apparently Spongebob didn’t last very long as they were already gone, since it was the last one I felt bad and offered to give it back to her, but the manager said after all I went through I deserved it and told me to keep it lol.

I did a little happy dance, grabbed my Eliminator Chamois, Spongebob bath Sponge and checked out!

….and that about wraps up another Operation SpongeTech Products mission. Thanks for coming for the ride, hope you had fun, make sure to tip the waitress on the way out!

Let Bill Buy It: SpongeTech All-In-One-Car-Wash

It looks like an ordinary sponge but the makers say it contains car-wash soap. So much soap that there’s the claim: it will wash 8 cars, and all you need is a hose. Will this sponge live up to the claim? Before you try it, we “Let-Bill-Buy-It.”

Bill asked the cheerleaders at Juan Diego Catholic High School to wash their cars…and hey…how about a couple of teacher cars too?

The school is celebrating 10 years now, so don’t the teachers deserve something?

“I’ve got to support our cheerleaders,” says a teacher.

“Have you ever washed a car?” Bill asks.

“Yes I have,” says a cheerleader.

For this car wash, Bill asked the cheerleaders to use the All-In-One Car Wash Sponges.

“So, is there…there already has soap in it?” asks a cheerleader.

That’s right. The soap’s in the sponges, so using nothing more than a hose, the two sponges and a chamois are supposed to provide everything necessary to wash up to eight cars.

So, it’s just like a car wash. Wet the car…and don’t forget to wet your friends…then, wet the sponge…and look at this…the sponge is producing its own suds.

And from this point, the cheerleaders are off to see if they can wash eight cars with the one sponge.

Car after car…second, then third. Is the sponge still delivering?

“It’s cleaning it still…so, pretty good,” says a cheerleader.

Then the forth and fifth car and is there still soap coming out of the sponge?

“There is soap…there’s suds,” says a cheerleader.

And taking turns washing, rinsing, and drying with the included chamois, the cheerleaders finished doing the seventh, then eighth car. That’s the claim: it will wash up to eight cars.

“It’s still working on car eight…tons of suds,” says a cheerleader.

Okay, that lived up to the claim. The only problem these cheerleaders had was with the chamois. They’ve seen better.

“The only thing that doesn’t work is the drying thing,” says a cheerleader.

“It’s not really drying the car,” says another. “It’s just, like, smearing it.”

But the sponge? Oh yeah: “Still sudsing…look at it…it’s still sudsing.”

So, after eight cars it does seem to be living up to the claim. Bill paid $10 for the sponge and got it from asseenontvguys.com.

What the heck’s SpongeTech?

If you try to avoid the SpongeTech logo, you won’t see many sporting events these days.
For further proof the world seeps into our consciousness through our peripheral vision, we present SpongeTech, a company in the process of demanding your attention, a little at a time.

One year ago yesterday, nobody had heard of SpongeTech. But then the economy collapsed and Lehman Brothers folded and AIG went bankrupt and now you can’t watch a sporting event without at least being vaguely aware of the words “SpongeTech: America’s Cleaning Company.” And most of the time, if you see the SpongeTech advertising, whether it’s behind home plate or along the sideline at the U.S. Open tennis tournament or NFL games or at bass fishing tournaments, you’re probably going to ask yourself, “What the heck is SpongeTech?”

We’ll get to that. But first, the strange part: There is a direct connection between the collapse of our financial institutions and the sudden visibility of a sponge company. SpongeTech is a New York-based company, and after the meltdown the people who run it had an idea: They would approach professional sports teams with the idea of taking over in-stadium advertising space previously used by companies that were either defunct or not interested in taking huge bailout funds and having to answer questions about why they’re spending to litter America’s backstops.

With the advertising market destroyed, SpongeTech made deals with teams desperate to fill space and cash checks. They made a big push in Madison Square Garden and went from there. “We took up a lot of the advertising space that had been used by AIG,” says SpongeTech COO Steven Moskowitz. He says it almost apologetically, but it makes sense. It was the perfect opportunity buy, and the SpongeTech suits were smart enough to lock into three-year deals at the down-market rates, thereby ensuring that anybody who wants to learn about the company won’t have to worry about forgetting it exists, providing it still does.

Now SpongeTech is in 26 big league ballparks, seven NFL stadiums, a few hockey — and one NBA — arenas. Saturday was a huge day for SpongeTech, mostly because Serena Williams chose to blow a gasket in the U.S. Open semifinal directly in front of the SpongeTech logo. The only thing better would have been if they’d cleaned her potty mouth with one of the products — PuddlePal, anyone?

While Serena was unwittingly furthering the SpongeTech cause, what else was happening? “On Sunday you could watch us on three different networks at any one time,” Moskowitz says proudly. “And in New York alone, there were 60,000 at the U.S. Open, almost 50,000 at the Yankee game and almost 80,000 at the Giants game. All of them saw our ads.”

So, what the heck is SpongeTech? It bills itself as “America’s Cleaning Company,” which conjures images of an army of janitors swarming office buildings as soon as the last briefcase hits the sidewalk. SpongeTech is officially called “SpongeTech Delivery Systems,” which further confuses the issue. The delivery system in question is the delivery of the soap to the object that needs to be cleaned — dog, kid, countertop, ‘79 Dodge Dart — brought to you courtesy of the pre-soaped sponge that makes the company what it is.

Yes, that’s what SpongeTech is, a company that makes sponges with built-in soap, a process that removes the taxing and potentially messy procedure of actually adding the soap yourself. They make sponges for cleaning pets, homes, kids, cars, boats — if it needs to be cleaned, there’s a pretty good chance they’ve got a sponge to fit the occasion. And best of all, you don’t have to be your own delivery system. That’ll free your mind.

Moskowitz says the increased exposure has paid off exponentially. I didn’t get sales figures, but he says, “We’ve had a tremendous increase. The response has been way beyond anything we could have imagined, but we never could have afforded this if the economy hadn’t gone in the tank.”

OK, so why sports? Why would a company that makes car sponges and baby-bath sponges and SpongeBob sponges (for real) think ballparks were the best place to showcase those products? Wouldn’t it seem logical to advertise on Nickelodeon and HGTV and NASCAR races?

And since they’ve chosen to target us, what do they know about us that we don’t know about ourselves?

“It seemed like a natural fit,” Moskowitz says. “It’s baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet, and everybody that has a car has to wash it. So it’s perfect.”

OK. Go on.

“The demographics are the same,” he says. “The same people who follow sports and attend sporting events are the same people who wash their cars and their pets. You know, you’ve got Petco Park — sports and pets go together.”

OK. That’s a little like saying everybody who watches a sporting event eats, so it makes sense for a company that sells food to advertise at a ballgame. And, well, it does. Can’t argue with any of it.

Maybe a bigger reason for the sudden ubiquity of SpongeTech is this: Moskowitz is a big sports fan. He saw an opening, and he took it. If you’ve read this far, it’s working.

And of course, the advertising onslaught has created a world of sports fans who know SpongeTech products as well as they know McDonald’s, right?

“No, but we’re hoping we get there,” Moskowitz says. “Right now most of the people are still asking, ‘What the heck’s SpongeTech?’”

Operation SpongeTech Products – Mission is a SUCCESS!

How’s it going fellow sponge mobbers? The Sponge Father here reporting from Sunny South Florida! We have a little treat to kick off “The Sponge Mob Exclusives” which will consist of things such as photo galleries or articles that were released exclusively for or by The Sponge Mob members and supporters.

This go around we will be trying to put some basher claims to rest. I do realize this is a location pending experiment, but it will atleast give you a general idea so that you are not to be mislead by any false claims. You most likely have heard bashers stating that locating and purchasing SpongeTech products at retail stores was either lies or was so limited that you would have to drive 40-50 miles just to track a product down. These claims are FALSE and I hope that after coming along with us on this mission it will ease any doubts, concerns or worries.

As mentioned, we are located in South Florida in a fairly small city. Just fyi. Our experiment was to see how long it would take us to track down a SpongeTech product after watching their commercial at home base. Needless to say our “Operation SpongeTech Products” was a SUCCESS!!

SpongeTech claims to have products stocked @ CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, aswell as Ace Hardware to name a few. Well we happen to have 2 walgreens, a CVS and an Ace Hardware all within a mile or 2 from home base (walking distance). But that couldn’t be could it? Bashers say hard to get? = WRONG! And unlike bashers we come prepped with proof!!

First target “CVS Pharmacy” = SCORE!! (View photos below)

Side Note: We were a little upset that they were playing hide-n-go-seek on the shelf and there was only 2 left, we scooped one up and made sure to leave one at the edge. Funny thing was the next day I had to swing in for a couple quick things and happend to look for the heck of it, only to find out the last one had been sold. This CVS = SOLD OUT!

Second target “Walgreens” = SCORE!! (View photos below)

Side Note: They had plenty in stock, 6 or 7 of them.

Third target “Ace Hardware” = SCORE!! (View photos below)

Sidenote: We noticed Ace Hardware was charging 14.99 where as CVS and Walgreens only charged 9.99 We wondered if it has anything to do with product placement? Because if you notice SpongeTech’s products are right at the top and it’s sitting directly in front of the store opening where hundreds of people check out daily right by that register/counter. We purchased one and there was one left in stock, the lady did mention that on the other side of the register there was more stocked, but have since sold out on that rack. We all got pretty tickled, when she said “alot of people have been asking about these damn sponges”. Was music to our ears, the way we acted she must have thought “damn these guys really take their sponges serious”. (taking pictures etc lol)

Fourth target another “Walgreens” (view photos below)

Side Note: This walgreens was not like the one prior. They only had one left in stock which we scooped up and left the shelf a ghost town. This walgreens = SOLD OUT!

So I have to ask you, was that all that hard? Nope, once again bashers just bashing with no standing. We are batting 100% 4 stores and 4 scores!! All within a couple miles from each other and home base. There was actually even a PetSmart another mile or so away which I’m sure is stocking Uncle Normans Products, but after hitting 4 stores we figured we made our point, and could deem our experiment a Success!

Operation SpongeTech Products – Mission is a SUCCESS! 4 for 4! (view photos below)

SpongeTech Wrings Out a BIG GAIN in sales – SPONGEBOB Bath Sponge

Here is a link to an article that is not seen in any PR.

It’s about SPONGETECH Spongebob sponge becoming a big hit.

As quoted, ” The Spongebob Squarepants Soap-Filled Bath Sponge debuted
at a recent mini-launch in New England and, due to strong demand, the
number of stores stocking the product was increased from 9 to 200 in
just three weeks. ”

http://linkbee.com/spongebobHIT

This article features SpongeTech’s Director of Marketing, Jack
Schwartzberg. He believes that SPONGEBOB is going to be a bigger hit
than the already crazy AUTO SPONGE which is making the company so much
money already.

——————————————-

The cleaner-in-a-sponge concept has proved to be a big hit with consumers.

Time-strapped consumers have always paid a premium for convenience, but as the recession drags on, many customers are no longer able or willing to shell out more cash for time-saving products. But that’s not the case with SpongeTech, as demand for the company’s novel sponges continues to soar.

SpongeTech’s cleaner-infused sponges perform a wide variety of tasks. Every product is infused with 32 oz. of assorted cleaning solutions that are activated by water and a squeeze.

The Car Sponge Kit ($19.95) is comprised of two sponges that include car wash, Carnuba wax and a degreasing agent. Puddle Pals, SpongeTech’s line of children’s sponges ($7.99), contain hypo-allergenic, ultra gentle soap; Uncle Norman’s Pet Sponge ($7.95) holds shampoo, a coat conditioner and an odor inhibitor, and the Tub & Tile Cleanser ($8.95) retains a degreasing agent and detergent soap. SpongeTech also offers a Medical Sponge that retails for $9.95 and includes the same degreasing product and detergent soap in a smaller size.

The company began laboratory development of its technology in 1999, but products didn’t reach the market until 2007. After posting revenues of $55,000 that year, SpongeTech’s sales increased to $5.6 million in 2008 and then to $31 million through the first three quarters of 2009 with projected sales in 2009 totaling $40 million, according to SpongeTech’s Director of Marketing, Jack Schwartzberg.

Perhaps the main reason for this unexpected growth rate is SpongeTech’s recent and massive advertising campaign. As of 2008, 72% of the company’s sales came from international markets, with the remainder being largely attributed to television and online sales. According to Mr. Schwartzberg, the new advertising campaign was designed to expand the avenues in which SpongeTech does business.

“The goal of our advertising campaign is to drive the consumer to retail, and we are achieving it day by day…our market penetration grows daily,” he said.

The company’s best selling product has been the 3-Pack Car Sponge Kit, but a new product is poised to usurp that title. The Spongebob Squarepants Soap-Filled Bath Sponge debuted at a recent mini-launch in New England and, due to strong demand, the number of stores stocking the product was increased from 9 to 200 in just three weeks. The line is sure to please parents with its infused non-toxic, ultra gentle soap, as well as entertain children with the lovable face of Spongebob displayed on each sponge.

Mr. Schwartzberg is confident that the company will continue to grow leaps and bounds with the product’s retail launch, despite its unannounced date.

“It has been an absolute blockbuster…and every store sold out on the first day,” he said. “Our category manager gets 15 emails a day asking for more…everyone wants it and it will sell.”

Outside factors may also boost sales of the Spongebob Squarepants Soap-Filled Bath Sponge. The beloved cartoon celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and SpongeTech will look to squeeze all it can outof Nickelodeon’s massive marketing plan for the character. According to Mr. Schwartzberg, Spongebob represents a brand that everyone knows and this will likely translate into increased sales.

SpongeTech’s plans for the future extend beyond Spongebob Squarepants. In addition to owning the personal product licenses to Spongebob’s affiliated characters, the company is developing a delivery system for suntan lotion and is working with major companies seeking to infuse their products into SpongeTech’s delivery system. In the meantime, SpongeTech is expanding its consumer base. The company’s products are currently available at Walgreens, Ace Hardware, CVS Pharmacy, Jewel, Kroger and Costco.

Despite the economic downturn, Mr. Schwartzberg said that savvy shoppers are willing to invest in SpongeTech’s innovative technology.

“Consumers will pay for these products because you would pay for 32 oz. of soap or wax. This is the same product, but in a different container…our sponges have a different cost because they are a high-tech product.”

More information about SpongeTech can be found at www.spongetechs.com.

Hahahahhaha! Man you guys kill me with all that chart/analysis/slang. Trust me I know it really makes sense in you’re language I even find myself speaking it at times. The thing is you need to realize that not every trader/investor is some chart reading slang talkin’ analyzing animal. Most are just regular people with 9 to 5’s that are just looking to build a little nest egg for their future. Keep in mind that IS MOST of us, so when you spread the news about 6  zippy zone apple crushin’ nipple twisters don’t be offended when they laugh, instead of running to the broker to buy shares.

I know it’s kind of cool to talk in a language that nobody understands because the couple buddies you have that do speak it can feel like rebels, but guys we are investing here, remember the more the merrier?? Let’s bring it down a notch and speak a language that EVERYBODY can understand!!

It’s food for thought…..

The Sponge Mob Launchs Site and SpongeTech pops 7% Oh Yea Baby!

Alright so it was “almost” 7% we’ll just round it up to my lucky number, deal? 7% pop on our sites launch day?? Correlation or Coincidence? *insert sci-fi music* doo dooo dooo dooodoooo!

Haaaaaaa! Nah, but all jokes aside I’ll take 6-7% any day of the week. Slow and steady baby, slow and steady. Don’t get me wrong those 30% days are sweeeet, but make me nervous as $h!t. You know what they say….What goes up to fast??? *whispers black Friday*

Nice and Slow, build from real fundamentals not just pump and dump hype. That’s why I really like where SPNG stands. Shorters and Dumpers know they are playing with fire right now, way to much buy pressure. Steady positive PR’s and brand awareness is building by the day. How can you bet against SpongeTech at this point in the game? I just don’t see it. Yes,I know it seems like with every positive PR we tank. No worries here, I call this the sling-shot effect, keep pulling us and pulling us back and at some point once we finally reach the boiling point SNAAAAAP! We are going to launch to new levels that will be sustainable, this aint no boomerang baby she won’t be coming back!!

People have been getting tense seeing some low volume days, why? I love it! Personally I think it’s a great sign. Most of us longs are not playing the MM’s games any more. WE ARE NOT GOING TO BUDGE!! Once they know they can no longer play with our emotions, they get bored and move on. (hence leaving us with less trade volume) but in return we get left with REAL supporters that believe in the company and are not just in this thing for pocket change gains. Let’s face it, by now if you want in this bad boy you’re in and buying more every chance you get. If you wanted out odds are you’re out (or praying for a pullback so you can get back in) I really don’t see it happening fellas, forget about the past and realize that even at current prices IT IS A STEAL!! JUST GET IN AND HOLD!!

STOP LOOKING RIGHT INFRONT OF YOU!!!

Keep in mind just a couple months ago, people called .02 expensive and were waiting for a .01 pullback….shortly after it happened again, but now waiting on a .05 pullback from .06….and again .07 from .08….Maybe by now you are seeing where I’m going with this. In a year I plan to make a post asking if SPNG is a buy at .14 or is that to expensive??? Haaaaaaa! I have a feeling it will be something today’s longs will be able to get a really good laugh at.

It’s food for thought….

American Bulls: SPNG – BUY CONFIRMED!!

SPONGETECH DELIVERY SYSTEMS INC
Daily Commentary

Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation was issued on 07.29.2009 (15) days ago, when the stock price was 0.1405. Since then SPNG has gained 5.34% .

BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick with a higher open. The buying price is today’s open ( 0.1394 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.

The recent bullish formation leading to the BUY-IF signal is confirmed today. The market seems ready for a new bullish move. It opened today with a gap-up and the day’s activity resulted in a close higher than the open. This is one of our valid confirmation criteria.

The significant failure of the previous SELL signal is unfortunately confirmed too. Our shot went away this time. It is a fact that such signal failures are more unlikely for higher rated stocks, but it is not possible to deal with all the vagaries of the stock market. The signal system, however, continues to do an excellent job in the overall, despite such failures. This can be seen easily with a quick glance to the signal history table.

We hope that you bought this stock and still have the chance to profit from the later phase of the bullish attack. Today you were supposed to watch the upward gap in the opening, wait a bit, feel the bullish tendency of the market making sure that prices stay over the opening price and then go long. Your benchmark was the opening price of the upward gap.

If you bought, continue to hold this stock until the confirmation of the next SELL-IF signal. You are on relatively safe grounds as long as the future prices continue to trade above the benchmark price and if an emergency warning is not issued. What to do if you did not buy? Maybe, you did not have time to follow the session or you simply delegated the delicate job of confirmation to us. Well it is a bit late, but not too late. You may still find suitable prices for buying in the following sessions and still profit in case of a sustained bullish move.

The market is currently cold for short-sellers. Avoid any short sales and cover the short positions immediately if there are any. We erred significantly on the short side last time, but we are sure that you may easily cover your losses (if any) by basing your future trades on our signal system.
